Gourmet Golfing in WalesWales is the proud host of the 2010 Ryder Cup and we have some wonderful links courses close to Ynyshir Hall, so why not combine your love of golf with Michelin starred dining?
Spend 2 or more nights with us and enjoy 2 rounds at Aberdovey, Borth & Ynyslas, Machynlleth or even The Royal Saint David's Courses.

Aberdovey is reputedly Ian Woosnam’s favourite course but perhaps the member who made the greatest impact upon the Club over many, many years was Bernard Darwin. He has frequently been described as the father of sports writers and set new standards of golf. He wrote frequently and lyrically about the delights of golf at Aberdovey. In his own words Aberdovey was the course that his ''soul loved best of all the courses in the world''

Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club has a strong claim as the oldest golf club in Wales & celebrates its 125th birthday this year. This historic 18 hole championship golf course, which was re designed by the famous golf architect, Harry Colt offers a wonderful opportunity for 'Links golf as it should be played'... The turn embraces the dunes at Ynyslas, part of the Dovey Valley Nature reserve and the views north and east to the Snowdonia national park could cause you to take your mind off the game, this or maybe the Skylarks and Curlews calling or even a Red Kite circling above.

Machynlleth is a pretty, heathland 9 hole course with stunning views of the Dyfi Valley.

Royal Saint David’s is a nationally and internationally renowned 18 hole links course which has been selected to host international events.

All that golf in the fresh sea air will certainly give you a hearty appetite for an award winning gourmet dininer in our beautiful restaurant enjoying the very finest Welsh produce with exceptional wines selected especially for you by our sommelier .

A 2 day break starts at £1,100 based on 2 people sharing a room and includes afternoon tea on arrival, dinner, bed and breakfast on both nights, golf each day at a course of your choice and a golf lesson with our Level 2 P.G.A. Coach if you wish.
