You will be cosseted to the full from the moment you arrive. Vintage Champagne, Laurent Perrier , Grand Siecle, with your afternoon tea of smoked salmon sandwiches and Chef’s homemade scones and jam, with oodles of clotted cream. How else would you want to arrive in Shangri-la?
You might like to sit amongst the flowers and listen to the birdsong, or relax in our elegant drawing room.
Then there’s time to relax and pamper yourself before an evening of culinary delight. A Kir Royal in the beautiful bar before a very special bespoke Menu Gourmand, prepared, in consultation with our award winning Chef, Shane Hughes, just for you using the wonderful bounty of Welsh produce that surrounds us. Our Sommelier, will select the finest wines from our extensive list to accompany your menu.
The best table will yours for the evening in our charming, artistic restaurant, so sit back and enjoy a truly memorable meal. Coffee or an herbal tea, and petit fours to follow, with your choice of liqueurs, fine cognac or Armagnac. The retire to your gorgeous room, slip between Egyptian cotton sheets, snuggle into duck down pillows, and dream of the day to come.
A pot of tea to wake you, then a wonderful Welsh breakfast to set you up for the day.
Do as you please; we shall arrange everything to be just how you want it. Perhaps a chauffeur-driven trip to see some of the most stunning scenery in the British Isles, with a lunch stop at a special little gastro pub. We could provide a guide to take you on a walk around the RSPB Reserve, or further afield for the more energetic, with a special picnic lunch en route. However, you might prefer to select from a host of activities available, such as golf, horse riding or clay pigeon shooting.
Return to a bottle of Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne and caviar, then a massage or a little reflexology in the privacy of your own room.
Feel glowing and gorgeous, ready for another memorable meal, which Shane will tailor to your exact requirements, again with very special wines to match.
