WELCOME TO GIANLUCA Posted on 26/10/2007
We are delighted to welcome Gianluca Rizzo, starting on September 1st 2007, as our new Assistant Manager. Gianluca has worked at the Waterside Inn at Bray with Michel and Alain Roux for the past five years, and after a brief return to his native Italy, he is settling down with his family in this lovely part of Wales. He chose to come to Ynyshir simply because he fell in love with it, and he was impressed by the commitment and professionalism of the team. As you can imagine from his background, he is a perfectionist, and is enjoying bringing those extra touches to our lovely hotel. He is gradually taking over the stewardship of the wine-list from Rob, and Rob is spending more time on the golf course! When Joan has to reluctantly leave the Hotel for yet another award ceremony, she is happy that Ynyshir is left in a safe pair of hands.
