Wales True Taste Awards Posted on 23/11/2009
Ynyshir Hall is proud to be the Mid Wales regional winner in the prestigious True Taste Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the Welsh food industry 2009/10.
The awards were presented onNovember 19th at a ceremony in Abergavenny’s historic Market Hall and hosted by award-winning television and radio presenter, Sarah Dickins.
Now in their eighth year, the Welsh Assembly Government managed awards reflect the increased demands from consumers for locally sourced produce along with those of the export market place. The 2009/10 awards has seen some 860 entries from over 400 companies.
The independently judged awards were founded to recognise and reward quality and innovation across the food and drink and hospitality sectors.
