The Morning Room
This is a lovely room, with a large ornate Victorian, high Gothic, bay window containing French windows opening onto our lovely 14 acre gardens. It has spectacular views down the sweeping lawns, enhanced with stately Victorian Wellingtonia and pine trees, and with rhododendrons and azaleas. Beyond these the backdrop of the Cambrian mountains.
The room was once a study/library, and still has beautiful glass fronted inset bookcases, now displaying our Art Deco dinner service. There is also a large fireplace.
The walls house original watercolours and oils by Rob Reen with the theme of boats and the sea. The room measures 3x7 metres, and is a perfect private dining room seating 15 people.
The Dining Room
This delightful light and sunny room has three windows all overlooking the magnificent gardens, with the Cambrian mountains beyond. The ever changing play of light on the hills provides a constant spectacle for the diners.
If that were not enough, the walls are adorned with large oil paintings by Rob Reen, all based on local scenes in all seasons. The white crisp linen, silver cutlery and crystal glassware set the scene for our memorable meals. The room seats up to 25 covers, and measures 8x7 metres .
