Rob has exhibited widely in the UK and his paintings can be found in many private collections in the UK, US and Europe. Rob’s works mostly in oil on canvas and his paintings range from small to very large. His most recent work, ‘Studies of Sheep’ can be seen throughout the hotel. Rob undertakes commissions and welcomes visitors to his studio in Aberdovey (by appointment).

“In my painting I like to engage with the quality and effect of the paint and the surfaces it creates. The paint has its own energy creating an abstract landscape of its own, a kind of musicality that creates an emotional response”.
