The Studio Wing
The Studio WIng is adjacent to the main building on ground floor level, and comprises two bedrooms - Studio I & Studio II, both with their own private entrance. Photo featured above is of a Superior Room.
Studio I (King-size double or twin)
This is the larger of the two studios and has French windows opening onto a small patio. The windows look straight down the gardens with prime views of the Victorian tree collection and the rhododendrons and azaleas. The flower bed outside is always kept full of colour, all through the year.
It boasts a lovely antique, six-foot king-size bed which can be twinned. This bed with a antique Victorian brass bedstead is particularly fine, with all the pattern traced in gold.
The furniture is all antique pine, and the colour scheme a striking purple and gold.
This room has a traditionalwood burner style gas stove, which is cosy for winter days.
Studio II (Double)
This is a small, pretty double room with Victorian antique bed and fine furnishings. This studio has a four-foot-six inch bed, with an antique Victorian brass bedstead.
The studios can be booked separately and are also ideal for family groups or friends, or simply those who like two adjoining rooms instead of sharing.
